由上文可知,激肽系统与糖尿病视网膜病变之间的关系,无论从基础研究还是从临床验证方面,都还有大量的工作需要做;从某个角度来讲,激肽/激肽释放酶犹如双刃剑,似乎一方面有利于视网膜微循环的恢复灌流,另一方面又可能存在引起血管渗漏、水肿和新生血管形成的危险。如果希望通过干预激肽系统而达到缓解或者辅助治疗糖尿病视网膜病变,无论是考察其疗效或者观察其副作用,也需要进行全面的观察和评价,包括对不同时期、不同病变的糖尿病进行分别观察。
